All 45 engaged leads were reconciled one by one against who actually booked, and every booking was checked against your Calendly rather than our own records. Reply and bounce rates are against the 34,716 people reached, not the 38,036 sends.

Where it actually stalled

It was not the calendar and it was not the close. Every single booked call eventually happened, one of them after a no-show and a rebook, and nearly a quarter of the people who sat down with you bought. Those are the two stages a cold engine usually leaks at, and neither leaked.

It stalled at interest. 45 hand-raisers from 34,716 people is about one in 770. The same machinery on a warm member audience elsewhere runs several times that.

The read we landed on, and you said the same thing on our call on the 15th: a four-week paid programme is a considered purchase that needs trust before the ask. Cold email is good at reaching people and bad at manufacturing that trust from nothing. The formats that fit this offer are the ones where somebody opts in first, a webinar, a video walkthrough, paid traffic into a checkout.

What I am handing over

All sending is stopped and the mailboxes are cancelled, so nothing further goes out under the programme. What is left is the warm residue, and it is yours:

WhatCountWhy it matters to you
Interested, never booked32Said yes to learning more and never got on your calendar
Of those, with a direct phone number15Callable today, no email needed
Of those, who asked what it costs8Furthest along. These are the discount conversations
Never answered by us6Including Michael Kersten at Kinsley Sarn, who asked what it cost and was offered times on 10 Aug but never picked one

One ask

Basically a 10 min casual conversation on Google Meet, that I'll record and put on YouTube. You don't have to perform or memorise a script, just honestly how the work together has been. No prep needed at all.

The person watching it is likely on the fence about working with me. He's already interested, he just needs a bit of help making the decision, and hearing all this from you is exactly what does that.

It's important that it's honest though. Like at the start I asked what a successful version of this looked like to you, and you said 8 to 10 enrollments minimum. We got 4, and you still said it's been a dream working with you. That's the important part.

Sample questions, again it's only 10 mins:

  1. What AESC does, and what this program was meant to be
  2. What we built and ran for you
  3. What you made of the numbers
  4. Why you decided to work with us in the first place
  5. What you expected going in vs what actually happened
  6. How much of your own time it took
  7. What you'd tell someone deciding whether to work with me

You see the cut before it goes anywhere, and anything you want out comes out.
